Stop Motion
Stop motion animation is a much specialised area of expertise. It involves meticulous accuracy and patience. An average one minute sequence would probably take a week to ten days to produce. This is because each second of movement would involve taking twenty five still pictures and if the animation involved a set with moving props moving these in sequence in the process.
With this said the outcome can be brilliantly outstanding. Look at Wallace & Gromit (Produced by Aardman Studios) for proof of that. You also have to have some model building skills as set & prop design can be a challenge.
Here at Backin5 we strive to include all of these type of skills in the portfolio of work we produce and like to experiment with new concepts for corporate film including all manner of animation.
